Let's extend our congratulations to three outstanding students at Hip Hop Pop, who have recently been honoured as recipients of the Jack Petchey Foundation Achievement Awards Scheme.
The Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme enables Hip Hop Pop to recognise and reward nine exceptional students (aged 11 to 25) annually for their accomplishments. We are thrilled to reveal the final three winners among the nine recipients of these awards for the year 2023.
Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme Winner:
LAYLA
“Layla's journey in dance class has been marked by a remarkable transformation in her confidence, both as a performer and as a member of the class assistant team. Layla has more recently become an invaluable asset to the young volunteer team, showcasing proactive qualities and a positive attitude. Layla's evolving confidence has not only enhanced her own dance experience but has also helped to elevate the overall dynamic of the classes she volunteers in, creating a supportive and empowering environment for everyone involved.”

HOLLY
"Holly's dance journey is a testament to her unwavering commitment and relentless pursuit of excellence. Over time, her dance skills have not only flourished but have reached a level of proficiency that recently earned her a well-deserved spot in the advanced class. Holly's performances now radiate a newfound confidence. Her dedication to honing her craft is evident in each energetically executed routine. Moving to the advanced class not only showcases Holly's individual growth but also positions her as an inspiration to her peers. Thriving in this elevated setting, Holly continues to push her boundaries, setting the stage for even greater achievements in her dance journey."

BROOKE
"Brooke consistently embodies a remarkable dedication to her craft, pouring her heart and soul into every dance challenge she encounters. She fearlessly tackles intricate choreography with unwavering passion. In recent months in particular, her willingness to push the boundaries of her abilities make her a standout classmate and performer and a wonderful role model within her class."
Thanks to these awesome winners, the Jack Petchey Foundation funded a combination of guest tutors, studio signage, and studio space for community events. Thank you JPF from all of us at Hip Hop Pop!
A massive well done from all of us at Hip Hop Pop, to our final 3 Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme Winners this year: Layla, Holly and Brooke continue to work hard, inspire and achieve great things. These winners will be collecting their medallions live on stage next year. The next 3 achievement awards will be announced from January to June 2024.
