T's & C's - Easter Event 2024

The terms below form an integral part of taking part in Hip Hop Pop's Easter event, please read, understand and agree by signing the registration form. ​

1. HIP HOP POP LTD will look after your data with due care in accordance with Data Protection and GDPR laws, for more information see Privacy Policy

2. Deposits are non-refundable

3. The full balance is due by 1st April 2024, and fees are non-refundable after this date.

4. Hip Hop Pop reserves the right to change the line up of tutors at any point, with a minimum of 4 tutors per event

5. I am aware of and understand the potential risks and dangers associated with physical activity including the use of the equipment and I am voluntarily participating in these activities with knowledge of the risks and dangers involved.

6. To the best of my knowledge, I know of no reason why I should not participate in any of the classes, rehearsals, performances, or other activities at Hip Hop Pop. I hereby declare myself free of any condition, disease, impairment, infirmity or illness that may affect my participation. I agree to inform a member of staff and where appropriate provide written consent from my doctor should such a condition arise, before continuing with any activity.

7. We will require further information regarding any medical conditions (including where it's kept, how to and when to administer and/or an action plan) and it is your/the parents/guardian’s responsibility to bring the medication that may be required during any activity with Hip Hop Pop. Hip Hop Pop will not be held liable, should a student of any age be sent to / come to class without the correct medication (for the safety of all students, we must stress how important it is to bring required medication to all sessions).

8. I have had the opportunity to ask questions about the activities and classes and other related subjects at Hip Hop Pop, and any questions I have asked have been answered to my satisfaction.

9. Hip Hop Pop accepts no liability for my death, injury or illness resulting from my failure to disclose any relevant medical impairment or condition or from my misuse of Hip Hop Pop’s facilities or tuition.

10. Hip Hop Pop takes no responsibility for items lost at their premises or third-party premises although Hip Hop Pop will endeavour to help you recover such lost items.

11. I hereby give Hip Hop Pop permission to use photographs and video clips of the named cast member, taking part in classes, r and activities at Hip Hop Pop for publicity channels including website, social media, posters and flyers etc. I also understand that I / the participant will be featured on participant-shared videos and action photos of the performances.

12. We expect a parent/guardian to collect event members under the age of 16 on time at the end of the session. If you require us to release a student without a parent/guardian present a signed letter must be given to HHP staff before the lesson. We also take no responsibility for students signing in early for sessions, students are in our care during the activity time. Please do not leave under 16s unattended pre-session, or drop-off just before session start time.

13. I hereby agree to follow activity instructions by session leaders strictly to ensure correct techniques are used to avoid injury. 

14. Hip Hop Pop take no responsibility for bank charges incurred by any payments made or customers' account going overdrawn.

15. I understand Hip Hop Pop will be using a respected third-party company - Stripe to collect any fee, who will look after my data in accordance with current UK law please see their website for more detail

16. All places are subject to availability and at the discretion of HHP staff

17. I understand Hip Hop Pop operates a zero-tolerance bullying policy

18. I understand in the case of a force majeure event (including government lockdown), Hip Hop Pop will endeavour to reschedule.  Participation fees remain non-refundable as per the dates above in points 2 to 3 unless alternative dates are not able to be scheduled within 12 months of the original date, in which case Hip Hop Pop will return your balances (balance after deposit).
