Big Thanks to the Jack Petchey Foundation – New Lighting Kit, Endless Possibilities!

We’re thrilled to share that, thanks to tutor Mikaela winning a Jack Petchey Foundation Leader Award, we’ve been awarded a special grant that’s helped us level up our video production in a big way!

Here's one of the many videos we've already filmed with the new equipment! 'LITTLE BIT OF LUCK'

The grant has allowed us to invest in a brilliant set of professional lighting equipment – and we’re already seeing the incredible impact it’s having. From vibrant, colour-changing lights to mood-setting, dramatic tones, this kit gives us the freedom to create an endless variety of styles and visual effects. Indoors, outdoors, day or night – we can now shoot anywhere, anytime! What an experience for the students!

What’s even better? The lights are battery-operated, so we’ve got full flexibility for outdoor night shoots, and with Bluetooth control, we can adjust the lighting quickly and easily on the go. Whether we’re switching colours, changing the atmosphere, or experimenting with different placements, this new kit has opened up a whole new world of creative possibilities.

Hve already filmed 13 videos using the new lights – and we’ve got 27 more lined up for June and July, with plenty more to come after that. It’s been an exciting addition for everyone involved in creative projects.
