We’re delighted to shine a spotlight on three remarkable individuals who, between September and November, have earned the prestigious Jack Petchey Foundation Achievement Award for their outstanding dedication, enthusiasm, and progress.

Mini Gardner-Harris, age 14

Mini is a ray of sunshine in every session she attends—always smiling, always working hard, and giving her all. In recent weeks she’s made impressive strides in mastering the correct grooves beneath the moves—a key focus for her—and the progress has been clear to see. Her positivity and tenacity make her a fantastic role model for others her age.

Abigail Hogg, age 16

Having recently moved up to the Advanced Teens class, Abigail has embraced the challenge with great determination. She’s been putting in extra effort to expand her skill set and is making vast improvements. Well-liked by her peers, Abigail wlingly steps into new challenges and consistently sets a strong example for her age group.

Ciara Mitham, age 15

Ciara’s move into the Advanced class has been driven by the infectious energy she brings to everything she tries. It’s been hugely noticeable—both to staff and her peers—how she’s flourished recently. Even after a close friend stopped attending, Ciara seized the moment to focus on her own improvement, and she is really smashing it.

Each of these young talents exemplifies the values celebrated by the Jack Petchey Foundation: hard work, passion, kindness and a commitment to making a difference. Their achievements remind all of us of the transformative power of dedication combined with creativity.

The Jack Petchey Foundation for their generous funding through these awards, which has enabled us to purchase new equipment for our upcoming workshop event activities and to archive our past show footage, and invest in a wide-angle camera to capture even cooler dance moments in the future.

We’re extremely proud of Mini, Abigail and Ciara, and look forward to watching their continued growth and impact both in class and beyond.

Thanks to them, and to the Jack Petchey Foundation, for helping us foster such a culture of excellence, inspiration and community.
