We asked work experience student Ana Rose, who is also a part of the Teens Advanced class/team, to write a blog post about our recent community performances.
Here's what Ana Rose had to share:
Hip Hop Pop is a dance school for all ages and abilities. You can learn new skills, form connections, and really enjoy yourself. Hip Hop Pop showcases what you have learned in classes in many ways. There are showcases, big shows, school events, summer events and many more. Below, I am going to talk about the most recent summer events Hip Hop Pop have done.
Summer Events
3 different school events – 28th of June - Hip Hop Pop performed at Harlowfields School, Pemberley Academy and St Luke's School, with a mix of Advanced Teens students and Advanced Adults students.

Essex Pride – 21st of June - The Advanced Adults Performed in Chelmsford

The Great Get Together – 21st of June - Hip Hop Pop Performed at Harlow Bandstand, (Advanced Adults).
Bishops Stortford Parade – 21st of June - Hip Hop Pop Performed in the parade, with a mix of all age groups.

These are just some of the events that Hip Hop Pop perform at and spread their love at.
When doing these events, it requires hard work, travelling and teamwork, and these events showcase Hip Hop Pop and the team that has come together. Hip Hop Pop does these events to support the community and also to provide these events with even more entertainment and fun. It is all about spreading the love and enjoying the time together as a team.

From Jen, Hip Hop Pop’s Director:
It's important to us to be a part of community events and spread the joy of dance with local people. So many youngsters enjoyed our performances that they then joined in with workshops at the events too, to get a little taster of a street dance class – and they loved it!
We’ve also performed for Essex Pride for approximately 15 years and are proud to provide a safe place for members of the LGBTQ+ community to learn to dance and express themselves.
Big thanks to the Teens and Adults who worked hard on new performance pieces for these events.
