With over 20 years of experience in teaching authentic street dance, you can put your trust in Hip Hop Pop when looking for street dance classes in Hertfordshire.
Based in the large gymnasium at Birchwood High School on Parsonage Road, children from age 4 to teenagers age 17 proudly choose Hip Hop Pop to learn skills in hip hop, house locking, breaking (more commonly known as break dance), popping, krump and much more under the street dance umbrella.
It's an incredibly exciting time to join Hip Hop Pop, as professional dancer Alisha Margetson, a highly respected tutor at Hip Hop Pop with experience, energy and charisma by the bucket load will be leading classes at Birchwood. Current students rest assured that directors Jen and Vic will continue to follow your progress closely.
As Alisha tells her students, her middle name is "ENERGY', and wow, does she get the most out of each and every student she teaches! Alisha is an inspirational leader, a creative mind and a wonderful role model for students of all ages.
Our Bishop's Stortford branch includes 4 classes of mixed ability in 4 age groups:
Age 4 to 5 (5:00pm - 5:30pm)
Age 6 to 9 (5:35pm - 6:20pm)
Age 10 to 11 (6:25pm - 7:10pm)
Age 12 to 17 (7:15pm - 8pm)

I really enjoyed reading about the street dance classes in Hertfordshire, and it got me thinking about how much fun movement can be when you have good teachers. When I first tried a new class and was stressed about my workload, I needed someone to write my finance assignment so I could have time to practise and learn new moves. It taught me that it is acceptable to ask for help and still grow.
