Twist and Pulse 2019 BGT Champions answer Hip Hop Pop student's questions and deliver 2nd workshop!

Updated: Aug 8, 2022

Thanks to the Jack Petchey Foundation's 21st birthday summer activity gift to Hip Hop Pop, we are able to invite Britains's Got Talent Champion of Champion's Twist and Pulse back to Hip Hop Pop, but this time with a 'twist' as well as a 'pulse', read on to find out how!

The Jack Petchey Foundation seeks to inspire and motivate young people between the ages of 11 and 25, the foundation has supported Hip Hop Pop and its students for approx 10 years. This generous additional gift from the foundation means we can offer those in the foundations target age range (11+) something special to finish off the summer activities here at Hip Hop Pop

Back in June we saw Twist and Pulse, 2019 BGT champions, deliver 2 workshops via the virtual platform Zoom getting 'pulses' raised with their speedy high energy routines. On Friday the 4th September the comical and talented duo will return to get pulses racing in a street dance workshop once more with students aged 11+. Yet this time withe 'twist' post-workshop.

Students who take part in the workshop will have the opportunity to ask Twist and Pulse questions in a virtual meet and greet afterwards. We hope the duo's answers and input to the students questions will help to continue to motivate students to work hard for their dreams just as the BGT champions did, they never gave up. Plus the students can get to know the real Ashley and Glen AKA Twist and Pulse.

This opportunity is for to members only aged 11+, and is completely FREE thanks to the generosity of the Jack Petchey Foundation.

The workshop will begin at 6.30pm (1 hour)
Followed by a Q&A / Virtual Meet and Greet (Half Hour)

There's likely to be a lot of questions for the Britain's Got Talent Champion of Champions 2019 and Britain's Got Talent Runners Up 2010, so questions MUST be sent in in advance (first come first served - see form below) and we will invite you to ask your question on the day, in order of requests sent in. We hope to give as many students as possible the chance to ask the duo questions, but please note there isn't likely to be time for everyone.

Always wanted to know what it feels like to win BGT? What's it like back stage at the BGT final? What's their favourite ever performance? Who does the choreography? What pets do they have? Any question goes! This is your chance to ask Twist and Pulse anything in person (well via Zoom in -person).

Have you seen Twist and Pulse's 2020 'A Tale to Tell' short film? It's so good, check it out...
