30 students had the opportunity to learn a piece from ZooNations 'Some Like It Hip Hop' repertoire with Zoo Nation Company dancer and ZooNation Youth Director Bradley 'Bradz' Charles today (Friday 6th November) via a private Zoom workshop
Thanks to the Jack Petchey Foundation 30 spaces (for ages 11+) were snapped up super fast when we mentioned the opportunity to learn a piece from the incredible theatre show by Kate Prince. Many of the students having seen the show when it was in London last year. Have you seen it? If you didn't - If it comes back on tour it's a MUST see!
Dancer/Tutor Bradley Charles put the 30 keen students through their paces with a top rocking combo followed by a popping combo from the shows 'skills and drills' section. Bradley took care and attention to watch, praise and help students individually too.
The session was finished off with a Q&A with Bradley, sharing some industry experience and advice for youngsters aspiring to be pro dancers. We hope to be able to invite Bradley to one of our in person workshop days next year.
